Ghazal Faghihi

Ghazal Faghihi (1994) is an Iranian clarinetist and improviser. Trained as a classical musician, she gradually moved toward experimental music, contemporary performance, and improvisation.

Her artistic practice explores the sonic possibilities of the clarinet, historical instruments, electronics, and unconventional materials. She works across acoustic and electroacoustic contexts, combining improvisation with research into sound, identity, and artistic freedom.

She specializes in historical clarinet and chalumeau while also developing solo and collaborative projects in experimental music scenes across Europe.
